The traditional Japanese crafts brand KANEKO YUINOUHINTEN was founded in 1939. The shop has evolved through three generations by providing enormous services to help couples having an engagement ceremony and getting married.

Kaneko sisters want to use Mizuhiki more often in people’s ordinary life. Then they start to think about making something fit in our modern fashion style…something that is easier to coordinate with our daily look. This is how they started to make Mizuhiki accessories while keeping tradition of Mizuhiki. All of their products are self-designed and handmade by them.

According to professional Mizuhiki crafts of Kaneko sisters, an engagement has a meaning of connecting people’s relationship. They have been carrying out a mission of connecting people’s relationship. They want them to use Mizuhiki accessories not only as an special gift but also as an small gift for our everyday life. In addition, their products contribute to enhance their hometown's global fame by consumers from all over the world. Of course, they continue to keep the traditional styles of Kanazawa Mizuhiki as well. That’s the ideal goal.

同店は1939年創業、３代にわたって丁寧な技術と仕事で多くの方々の結納をお手伝いしてきた結納品専門店。

伝統を守りながらも、近年は、金沢水引を日常の暮らしへ気軽に取り入れ「幅広い年代のファッションに合うものを作りたい」と金子姉妹が始めた水引アクセサリーが注目を集めている。
色とりどりの水引細工はすべて職人の手作業で作られたオリジナルデザイン。

水引き職人の金子姉妹曰く、「結納は人と人をつなぐもの。その使命を果たすために今までやってきました。水引アクセサリーは特別な日に限らず、日々のちょっとしたプレゼントにも使って欲しい。そして、伝統の金沢水引を守りながら、広く愛される商品を目指し地域に貢献したい」
